while not really the north west it is still something to keep. although there were no native horses to north america the ones that are here are descendents of the spanish mustangs that got loose during that countries conquest of central and south america.... https://dailymontanan.com/2024/04/29/wild-horses-to-stay-in-national-park-management-plan-needed-advocate-says/

Not everyone agrees with that opinion, considering it is a monstrous, and never-ending expense for the U.S. taxpayer to maintain a herd of non-indigenous animals in a National Park But then, as with the State of Florida, Theodore Roosevelt National Park has no shortage of problems to deal with.

"I shall wear white flannel trousers, and walk upon the beach. I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each."

Sounds like an adequate food source to assist a growing condor population.

Well, you simply enter the Extreme Mustang Makeover, get a wild one at a BLM facility, and have it ready to compete in 100 days. I think they are auctioned off after the event. Here's a horse doing the freestyle competition.
Here's a kind of day by day example for 120 days.

What's especially fun about sock puppets is that you can make each one unique and individual, so that they each have special characters. And they don't have to be human––animals and aliens are great possibilities
