Snowboarding does not make you a better tele skier frown.gif Twentysomething outdoorsey guys have a hard time hooking up with twentysomething outdoorsey girls tongue.gif The contents of a frozen dinner* will bear no resemblance to the picture on the package, even after you cook it! *I don't really eat these.

I'm not always sure I like being older but being less stupid has advantages. http://www.flickr.com/photos/32121172@N00/sets/

Hunger is the best chef. Don't ever try eating freeze dried stuff at home. Randy has a story about Mountain House chicken Stew that proves this theorem. If it tastes good at home, it's going to be *heavenly* in the backcountry.

To the world you may be one person; but to one person you may be the world.

Footprints on the sands of time will never be made sitting down.

I don't think Chestbeater Joe is in his 30s any more, so you may not be able to get a good baseline by which to measure the experiment.

Leavenworth is starting to be old news. No doubt the cream of the crop has been harvested by now. There are probably better towns to find attractive women this Saturday. Baring may or may not be one of them. According to a good friend... "I'm surprised there isn't a strip club in Baring..."

Point well taken. A re-visit to this https://www.nwhikers.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11521 should yeild promising hunting grounds. There has to be some lonely attractive lass waiting to be whisked away into the sunset by a sweaty post-hike mountainman. horsey.gif wub.gif

Startup might be a good place to start something. Here are my deep thoughts... A fool shouldn't have any money to start with. One plate of Teryaki is enough for two lunches, that is if you remember to ask for a second fortune cookie. Tourons are smarter than most people think (and the rest of the others aren't that smart anyhow) If you go north long enough, you will end up south. If you go west long enough you will end up east. So you really only need to know north and west. You are never more than halfway lost.

Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.

The bigger the hair, the closer to God. The bigger the truck, the smaller the p*nis. The bigger the mouth, the smaller the brain. (personal experience here! embarassedlaugh.gif )

You can pick your friends. You can pick your nose. But you can't pick your friend's nose.
