I'll make a suggestion. This is a great one to get some experience. Denny Creek to Snow Lake. Take the established trail to Melakwa. Then the boot path to Upper Melakwa. Continue up to the saddle where you look down to Chair Peak Lake. Go down to Chair Peak Lake. Traverse over to Gem Lake. Take the established trail to Snow Lake & then back to the trailhead @ Alpental. Finally, hitch a ride back to your car. The off trail experience will be from Upper Melakwa to Gem Lake. Involves talus fields, scree, steep ups & downs and route finding from Chair Peak Lake to Gem Lake. It's a really fun route & its hard to get lost. PM me for more details if needed

Experience is what'cha get, when you get what'cha don't want
