Looking forward to this seasons trail cams. How many do you have set up in your stomping grounds?

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,I took the one less traveled by. And that has made all the difference. Robert Frost

I'm looking forward to it also. I'm currently running 4 and have managed as many as 6. 6 was too many for me

Zilch today. 3 inches of fresh snow last night, so, though I'd go out and attempt to cut some fresh tracks. Rabbits & squirrels is all. Beautiful day and no wind

I feel like I'm so close. I set this camera 2 days before the date on the video. I chose a area I'm not real familiar with, but, it has Mountain Lion terrain that is similar to what I've studied & read about. Cool to capture a lion on my intuition. I recovered this camera a few days ago
On that trip to retrieve the camera, I found some older lion prints on top of elk prints. The lion tracks were headed toward one of my other cameras but veered off before reaching it. They headed up a steep embankment and to a ridge running NW - SE. I didn't follow

Appears something briefly caught this cats attention. At first, looks like hunting behavior, then gives up

What I have noticed on my trail cams is once the wolves show up in the area the number of cougars on camera decrease significantly.
