A couple nights ago, rushing to get out of the woods before dark as I had no headlamp. I was distracted by the commotion which turned out to be 5 bull elk fighting over a group of cows. Caught a few seconds on cell phone video. A really cool experience!!! Volume up on your device
( just a side note. Watching big bulls navigate the timber with their gigantic racks is something to see. How they turn and lower their heads to dodge the trees is impressive )

Local wolves abandoned the territory. Haven't seen the solo wolf lately just outside that territory.
Going to concentrate on wolf activity this fall. Currently, been having lots of fun with the elk rut.

It was on the MTB trails north of the Snoqualmie Valley trail by the Tokul trestle. Nowhere near the North Fork
